The skirt is the opposite — it is close through the waist and hip, so treat those two rows as the fit that matters most. If you are between sizes on the skirt, take the larger.

These are the ranges the supplier declares, not exact percentages — the listing states a bracket rather than a single figure, so treat them accordingly. In practice this is a light, fluid satin with a little stretch, which is what lets the skirt hold its line through the hip without feeling tight.

• Normal wash cycle, maximum temperature 40°C
• Do not bleach
• Hand washing with a mild detergent in warm water is recommended; wash light and dark colours separately
• Hang to dry — do not dry in direct sunlight
• Iron at a maximum sole-plate temperature of 110°C
• Low-temperature dry cleaning is acceptable

Fit and how to wear it

Questions

Is this a two-piece set or a single dress?
It is two pieces: a blouse and a separate maxi skirt. The price is for the set, so you receive both.

Is the colour in the photographs accurate?
The supplier states that the product itself has no colour variation and that the photographs are of the real item, but that different lighting and different screens will show slight differences in tone. Treat the photographs as an accurate guide and expect small variation in the flesh.

Is the fabric see-through?
In the photographs the set reads opaque in both colourways. Crinkle satin in lighter tones can become slightly translucent under strong backlight, so if you plan to wear the skirt somewhere brightly backlit, a nude or matching base layer underneath is the safe choice.

Will the skirt drag on the floor?
The skirt measures 103 cm at size S rising to 107 cm at 2XL, measured from the waist. Depending on your height it will either just reach the floor or graze it. Measure from your natural waist down to the floor and compare.

Can I wear the blouse on its own with something else?
Yes. The blouse is finished the same way as the skirt, so it stands alone comfortably. The skirt also works with a plain knit or a simple top.
